"La Buena Iglesia,"

Verso de hoy:

 Por eso, prisionero del Señor, los insto a caminar de una manera digna de la vocación a la que han sido llamados, con toda humildad y mansedumbre, con paciencia, soportándose unos a otros en amor, deseosos de mantener la unidad de los  Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.  - Efesios 4: 1-3

 ¿Alguna vez te has preguntado cuál debería ser la función de la iglesia?  Hay buenos aspectos de la iglesia hoy y hay algunas cosas que ciertamente podemos mejorar.  Sin embargo, creo que este versículo lo resume bastante bien.  Necesitamos estar unidos unos con otros, trabajando juntos como uno en el Señor, incluso si no estamos de acuerdo en algunas cosas.  Necesitamos mostrar bondad, apoyarnos y amarnos unos a otros.  Si hacemos estas cosas, seremos más efectivos para llegar a aquellos que aún no conocen al Señor.  Además, querrán unirse a nosotros cuando nos vean viviendo en humildad, gentileza, paciencia, amor y unidad.  - Comentario de: Traci Elliott

 Oración de hoy:

 Padre Celestial, ayúdanos a unirnos en la iglesia para que podamos honrar nuestro llamado en Ti y ser más efectivos al mostrar a los demás cómo quieres que vivamos.  Amén.

Today’s Verse:

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. - Ephesians 4:1-3

Do you ever wonder what the function of the church should be? There are good aspects of the church today and there are some things that we can certainly improve on. I think this verse, however, sums it up quite well. We need to be unified with each other, working together as one in the Lord, even if we may disagree on some things. We need to show kindness, be supportive, and love one another. If we do these things, we will be more effective in reaching out to those who don’t know the Lord yet. Moreover, they will want to join us when they see us living in humility, gentleness, patience, love, and unity. - Commentary by: Traci Elliott

Today’s Prayer:

Heavenly Father, help us to be unified in the church so that we can honor our calling in You and be more effective in showing others how You want us to live. Amen.
