"Ayuda En La Noche,"
Verso de hoy:
Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma, con toda tu mente y con todas tus fuerzas. '' El segundo es este: 'Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo'. No hay otro mandamiento mayor. que estos." - Marcos 12: 30-31
Vivir cerca del lugar de trabajo tiene sus ventajas e inconvenientes. Un beneficio es poder caminar al trabajo, lo que ahorra tiempo y dinero. Por otro lado, cuando hay una ausencia inesperada de personal, siempre me llaman primero por mi proximidad. Esto provocaría la ira de mi esposa, especialmente por la noche porque ya estamos durmiendo. La apaciguo diciéndole que Dios quiere que seamos amorosos y que nos sirvamos unos a otros y que nunca sabemos una noche que también podríamos necesitar ayuda. Este año, un árbol de mango cayó sobre nuestra casa a última hora de la noche. Nuestro cable eléctrico principal conectado a él también cayó junto con él. Por la gracia de Dios, nuestros vecinos se apresuraron a ayudar sin que dijéramos ni pidiéramos. Nos prestaron su experiencia y sus herramientas para evitar que el cable eléctrico cause daños en el futuro. Suponga que tiene un amigo que necesita su ayuda; si tiene los medios para ayudarlos, no dude en hacerlo. Puede llegar un momento en que usted también necesite su ayuda, y no lo pensarán dos veces antes de apresurarse a ayudarlo. La conclusión es que, ante todo, debemos amar a Dios con sinceridad, y luego amarnos y ayudarnos unos a otros desinteresadamente. - Comentario de Mark Natividad
Oración de hoy:
Nuestro Padre Celestial, perdónanos por las veces que nos negamos a ayudar a alguien a pesar de que teníamos los medios. Señor, prometemos cambiar esto y ser ayudantes dispuestos en cualquier momento que sea necesario. Por favor, danos la compasión para ayudar y servir. En el nombre de Jesús, oramos. Amén.

Today’s Verse:

Living near the workplace has its advantages and drawbacks. One benefit is being able to walk to work that saves time and money. On the other hand, when there’s an unexpected absence of personnel, I’m always called first because of my proximity. This would draw the ire of my wife, especially at night because we’re already sleeping. I appease her by saying that God wants us to be loving and of service to one another and we never know one night we might also need help. This year a mango tree fell on our house late in the evening. Our main electrical wire attached to it also fell along with it. By God’s grace, our neighbors rushed to help without us saying or asking. They lent us their expertise and tools to stop the electrical wire from causing any future harm. Suppose you have a friend who requires your help; if you have the means to help them then don’t hesitate to do so. There may come a time you will also need their assistance, and they will not think twice about rushing to help you. The bottom line is, we are to earnestly love God first and foremost, then love and help one another selflessly. - Commentary by Mark Natividad
Today’s Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, forgive us for the times we refused to help someone even though we had the means. Lord, we promise to change this and be willing helpers any time it might require. Please give us the compassion to help and serve. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
