Strength is available.

When you are at your weakest, God is strong. When you are down, God can lift you up. When all seems lost, God will help you win. Strength is available when you need it. Believe it, embrace it and rely on it.

Stop trusting their words & ignoring their actions

Loving one’s self is one of the most important thing a person can do. If you don’t love yourself, how do you love someone else! People do not change, unless they choose by their own volition. People will take advantage of you, especially when you do not value yourself. Treat others as you expect to be treated and hope for the best but never expect anything of anyone, other than YOURSELF. Wasting time and caring for the wrong people when the ones you should be concentrating on are slipping away. It’s hard loving someone for so many years and just stopping after many years but we have to learn to love ourselves enough that we put Us first and the rest falls into place.

Share Your Faith

Did you know there are times when some people may depend on your relationship with God? Most pastors are aware of this truth. Pastors want their congregation to know that they have a good relationship with God. This is why many people will come to their pastor and share a personal concern, thinking and hoping their pastor may have a better relationship then themselves with God. This also is not uncommon. Especially for those who are not as mature in their faith as they would like to be. Some parents share such experiences with their children, the same as some pastors with their congregants, who may not be as mature in their faith at the present. It is a personal, private and most intimate time of sharing. A pastor will not only hear and receive the petition, but will also take this precious moment to teach the congregant (as well as the loving parent with the child) how to go before Holy Father for them self. The Scriptures says: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Teach a child how to pray by praying with him or her. In our church family, some will say "Pray for me." Don't just say “I will,” but say "Let's pray together." In such intimacy, we share our faith. After two thousand years, some Christians may still think they do not know how to pray. That is nothing to be ashamed of and God already knows your heart. But what is important is to bring two or three together in the name of Jesus to pray with each other. Even if you are not physically together, you can still share such a moment with each other by phone. Remember, Christ is the bridge to make the connection. There are so many people in so many places who needs prayer. Share your faith with someone. It's a Beautiful Thing!

Have a good kind heart for those who care

Sometimes you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. If you feel you’re constantly being taken for granted, go out and meet some nice new people who do appreciate your kindness. Good looks, wealth and curves don’t last, but your good heart will always be the same, so don’t worry, if you have a good heart, be rest assured that it will take you places.

God wants to remind you:

Your struggle is not against flesh and blood...any opposition you are getting is spiritual at its root and you need to fight...not with people, but in faith, in courage, and in prayer. Don't get distracted by the personalities or the inconveniences, but stay focused on the principalities and powers that are trying to steal, kill, and destroy...and remember, if you work with Christ and keep your eyes on the cross, you can't lose.

Sometimes you need to let go.

Yes, it hurts when the things or the people we love are taken from us. Make your peace with loss. Nothing lasts forever. Like the trees in autumn, you too must learn to shed your attachments and start afresh.

Get In The Zone

Occasionally, a sports team will play so well that it would seem they are unbeatable. The sports commentator may periodically refer to this unbeatable team as being "in the zone." This is a phrase that is used to indicate the functionality of a sports team who is performing with precision and timing to perfection. When a Child of God find his or her confidence in God's purpose for their life, you will see a certainty of assurance (one has) that is accompanied by an uncommon passion, to perform a work that others may view as astonishing. This is what happened to David when he went to meet Goliath. David's confidence was his state-of-mind based on a certainty that he knew God was on his side. He had never come face to face with an enemy like this giant. All of the onlookers who saw this young man approached this genetic misprint without fear did not realized that David was in the zone. Remember, the enemy want you to think that you ought not do what God has created you to do. Yet your passion gets excited even when you think of the very thing you were created to do. See your vision and move toward it. Don't pay attention to the naysayers or the onlookers. If God calls you, He will qualify you. Not just with what you have, but also with what you don't have. The enemy will try to convince you - you are not equipped to do what God has called you to do. Feel free to do the thing you were born to do. Your challenge is to find your passion - get excited - and trust God. God will put you in the zone. God’s grace is already there waiting for you. Don’t worry about making mistakes. His Goodness and Mercy will follow you in. Get in the zone and fulfill your destiny. It's a Beautiful Thing!

You Can't Trust God with Your Fingers Crossed

With trust comes responsibility. Not to the one whom you have put your trust in, but to yourself to guard your belief, without having any doubt. There must be a steadfastness to your allegiance to the thing you give your loyalty to, in order for you to have confidence with composure. Where is the serenity and calmness if you are on the border of panic and terror when you say you have put your trust in God while having your fingers crossed? Fear without hope of rescue, while in anticipation of imminent hardship or calamity, is like anxiety on steroids. At such times, we need to totally put our trust in the One... who will give our "hope" reassurance of confidence and good posture. This way others around us may witness also that - we are not alone. If your hope is established, in Whom you have put your trust, then your faith will be activated with all self-assurance, knowing that God is with you - even before your plea. This way, regardless of your circumstances, if you know God is with you, (even in the fiery furnace), your hope is already assured despite the consequences. Trust God implicitly. You will feel so much better!

OUR God Is Bigger

Some people tend to expect fear more than they expect faith. The first place we lose this battle is in our thinking. Fear will try to dominate your thought life if you let it. Satan knows if you think on God, even for a moment, darkness will loose and God’s Light will win. We were taught to fear and we can be taught to have faith. Here is a powerful secret: If you choose faith instead of fear, you activate God's power. Faith allows God’s power to conqueror fear. How many times have we killed our faith with our thoughts? Remember, what you dwell on - is what you invite in. Maybe someone who is reading this today will have a prospective change in their life. When you see how big your problems are, simply say to yourself, my God is bigger. My destiny is too great. I have too much to accomplish for my God than to allow disorder to come into my life. We know that God's power is so much greater than the power of fear. And remember what God’s Word says “He did not give me the spirit of fear; but of power,…” (2 Tim 1:7) Don't come in agreement with fear. When fear knocks, let faith answer the door. Stay in agreement with God.

They Are In Our Midst

Sometimes people can see in others such gifts as skills, abilities, talents, along with many other attributes, that they cannot see in themselves. Most of us have witnessed this observation ourselves in some people who will not exercise their gifts because of fear. Fear is a powerful word, - but so is faith. There are some whose mind have become so complacent with simply existing on an everyday basis until their life have become stagnated. You may be able to see in them what they refuse to see in themselves. The Apostle Paul remind Timothy that he saw an uncommon faith in Timothy's grandmother and his mother that he also saw in Timothy himself. And then he said this to Timothy: "Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Tim 1:6-7) We don't always have to look for someone outside the church to offer special gifts the church needs. There are untapped resources sitting in many of our congregations. There are many saints in the church, worldwide, who may simply need some encouraging or a gentle push. And there are some who may literally need a laying on of hands, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to stir up their gift that God has given them. Know this still, the enemy has been busy. Many come to Christ broken in ways we may not be aware. And by divine connection, we may have been placed in their paths, to be a blessing and in sometimes the simplest of ways may cause a gift to be stirred up in them through Christ Jesus. Don't look too far for someone to bless in such a way. They may very well be in our midst. Go and share your faith with the least of them. It's a Beautiful Thing!

If you are reading this, God wants you to know that:

He sees your situation and He understands your concern...but, just even though it looks out of control, doesn't mean it is. He is not only in the process of coming through in tangible ways, but He is going to build your faith. Stand strong on what He has promised and know that what you need is on the way.

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

Pain is the reaction of the body, and as long as you have the body, some pain is inevitable. Suffering is the contraction of the mind, and unlike pain, is optional. Don't add suffering to pain, - relax your mind and the suffering will pass.

A Dream from God

Did you know that God can put a dream in you while you are asleep? And when you have awaken, you will never be the same again. You first receive the vision. Then you receive the “Rush.” The “Rush” is what I call a “data transfer.” This spiritual transferal of information can come in multiple streams of downloads all at the same time. If you try to explain this to others, your speech would be unintelligible about what God is communicating to you. This is because; now is not the time to try to communicate your vision to anyone. It is only the time for you to receive this announcing and revealing of your life changing assignment which is now in progress. This releasing of Divine revelation is only meant for you - until the time for you to make known your discovery and revealing from God. Be patient. Soon you will speak. The understanding of your life’s purpose is launching into an awareness you never thought were possible. But there you are! The sleeper has awaken! Your very consciousness is in full alert status with a knowledge and appreciation of the impact you are about to make on countless lives. Your reaction from this point on is motivated by the foreseeable consequence of lives that will be blessed by those you encounter. All of your life’s issues are being pushed aside, because you know God is in full control. At last, you’ve become inspired and motivated with your new found ambition to stay focused on God’s calling - and for you to become what God created you to be. Even your faith is compelled by the sheer thrust of you realizing your qualification and your surprising ability to carry out God’s plan for your life. Doubt is no longer a complaint or a precondition. Now the first three words of Romans 8:28 are clear with full appreciation and discernment when Paul said: “And we know - that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” No longer do we hope. Now we know. And to think, this all started with a dream - which you now know is a vision. Dreams are important. God often speaks to us in dreams. Children love to dream because they can explore the full range of their minds. Remember, Christ said: “If you want to get to heaven, you got to become as one of the little ones.” Open your mind to this dream from God. However - be ready for change. He can and will take you places you never dreamed of.

The Joy Is In The Journey!

The Christian walk is not meant to be a sprint. It is a marathon! Don't worry about if you think you are behind. This race is meant to be endured for a lifetime. Along the way, you will sometimes come into some tough times. It’s okay! God may have given you such a tough time as an assignment, because He knew He could trust you with the assignment. Always remember, in Christ, things happen for a reason. Often, some Saints may think that certain demanding and strenuous times may seem very personal, private and even unjust. Is that not the way Job felt? But we see – God was looking for a Champion. We have learned that trials and tribulations are real! But so is our God! Just remember, keep your vision that God gave you for your life, in front of you and very close to you. Your best days are still ahead of you. Satan will try to pull and extract you away from the purpose God has laid out for you. The life that was meant for you to explore has already been planned and arranged. But so often, that devil will try to extract your focus and concentration and we end up thinking more about ourselves rather than being a blessing to others. It’s a very old trick! The very motivation our God-given passion once directed and guided us to do what God gave us to do had been suddenly and unexpectedly shifted. It seem like we became very busy going nowhere in a hurry. Life was no longer a joy. We found ourselves really just existing. Go with God and stay in agreement with Him. Discover and learn the joy is in the journey. When your spirit discern you are getting close to the purpose God set for you, your soul will be at peace and free from anxiety. You will find that you are indeed “fearfully and wonderfully made” to accomplish what God had planned for you all alone.

When you look into the heavens, it is good to remember God.

But God also resides in all the creations of this Earth. Wherever you look, you are seeing a part of God. Tread gently. Speak with reverence. God is everywhere.

Forgive often & love with all your heart

Most of the time when you are forgiving people for hurting you in many ways as many don’t understand your struggles and they don’t always hear what they say let alone how it sounds like to you. Most people don’t have or even know what empathy is so even if someone tried to explain it to them. It may be over their head, that is why those of us that understand that others are not only in physical pain but also in mental pain and it’s dredful when nobody understands you, especially your own family. Sometimes it’s your family that doesn’t seem to care when it may very well be that they are so overwhelmed with everything that a person needs that they don’t know what to do first. Life can be a real challenge for sure.

You can be an echo of your past, or the glory of your future.

Past is connected to future through the present. At this very moment, at every moment, you are choosing to carry on the past with all its troubles on your shoulders, OR to let it go and see bright future pull your forward. Choose wisely.

There are times when a change of direction is for your highest good.

It takes courage to change direction. Choose the path your heart agrees with and walk with your head high and your eyes open. Don't be afraid.

When A Man’s Ways Please The Lord

The Scriptures says: “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” In other words, God can make even the devil want to shake your hand. It’s good to stay in agreement with God, even if you must go against your own intentions or objectives some times. Even on a good day, there are some people who will try to say bad things about you even though you never mentioned them to anyone. But when you are trying to perform a good work for our Lord by being a blessing to God’s people in whatever way the Spirit has lead you, someone will try to oppose your very intent. Some will try to prevent you by obstructing and frustrating others who may have a mind to help you. The worst enemy of all, is the one in your head who tries to complicate matters with thoughts that always seem to take your mind off of your purpose God has prepared for you. The devil will always try to distract you from what God has prearranged by His designed will. Sometimes, we can get off course (so often), we just put God’s plans for our lives, so far back in our minds, we simply forget His will. Or do we? May I submit to you that this is exactly what the devil wants you to do? The devil and your enemies really want you to please them. Know this, God’s will, will be done. God can take the worst the devil has against you and give you a brand new testimony to share as to “How the Lord has brought you through a tough time.” And so often, even your enemies will back off trying to obstruct your advancement realizing the more they come against you, for some reason, the more contemptible and loathsome they begin to look to others. If you try to please man, he will want more. If you try to please God, He will give you more. Now, even though your enemies may be at peace with you, they are still not your friends. Be wise and know that “smiling faces can sometimes tell lies.” But that’s OK. Just remember that - “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

You need to forget what's gone in life

Stay positive with yourself. We all have had some type of hardship, but we made it, and keep making it each day becoming stronger than we were. You have to be positive in order to bring the best things to life!

It is also important to know what you do not want.

Sometimes when you go through a period of great difficulty and struggle, it is so that you can finally realize what you do NOT want in your life. Then finally, at long last, you can embrace what you DO want.

God accepts even the smallest offerings of your devotion with great love.

The size of your offering does not matter to God. It is the attitude with which the offering is made that matters.

There are times when you are called to be of service.

Who could use a bit of kindness and love today? Who would benefit from a phone call, a visit, or an offer of assistance? You can be an angel in human disguise today.

15 Natural Remedies for Heartburn & Severe Acid Reflux

1. A spoonful of baking soda… A spoonful of sodium bicarbonate, or teaspoon-full to be exact, can help put an end to the gnawing, burning, sensation of heartburn caused by acid reflux. Baking soda, as sodium bicarbonate is more commonly known, can help your reflux and in turn help your heartburn because it is a base substance. It has a pH higher than 7.0, and therefore neutralizes stomach acid. Neutralizing the stomach acid means that if/when your LES decides to be lazy and acid comes up your throat, you don’t get “burned.” You will need… -1/2 teaspoon or 1 teaspoon of baking soda -a glass of fresh water Directions Mix either a ½ teaspoon or 1 single teaspoon of baking soda into a glass of water that is no more than 8 ounces. Give it a good stir and drink all of the mixture. You can repeat this as needed but should not exceed seven ½ teaspoon doses in a 24 hour period. Also, avoid using this as a remedy for more than a week straight, as it is high in salt and can have side effects such as swelling or nausea. baking soda drink 2. Soothe your stomach with aloe juice Aloe is a plant used to soothe burns, and people often think of using it to help something like sunburn, but it can do more than that. It may be able to help with heartburn too because it reduces inflammation. This means when your tummy starts getting irritated and inflamed, or your esophagus is getting eaten away at, a nice glass of aloe vera juice may be just the thing to help calm it down. You will need… -1/2 cup aloe vera juice Directions Drink a ½ cup of aloe juice, cool or room temperature, before meals. Keep in mind that aloe can act as a laxative, so unless you’re looking to fit in a few extra bathroom Sudoku puzzles, look for a brand that has the laxative component removed. 3. Chew gum The Journal of Dental Research conducted a study that showed people with symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or chronic heartburn, experienced relief when they chewed a piece of sugar-free gum for 30 minutes after a meal. This is because chewing gum stimulates the salivary glands, and increases the flow of saliva. Any acid that has built up in the gut is diluted and washed away or cleared out more quickly. The clearance of acid then improves the symptoms of GERD. It is possible that the same school of thought could be applied to occasional heartburn as well. It’s our regular saliva that we swallow that actually makes normal bouts of reflux here and there completely painless. You will need… -1 piece of sugar-free gum Directions… After a meal, pop in a piece of sugar-free gum and chew for 30 minutes to help ward off heartburn. eat gum for heartburn relief 4. Chin up (and don’t lie down) Heartburn tends to get worse at night, thanks to the fact that you’re lying down when you sleep. Gravity works against you, and it’s easier for the digested contents of your stomach to back up into your esophagus, along with acid. Try elevating your head about 6 inches when you sleep by placing bricks, books, or blocks under the legs at the head of your bed. You could also try a wedge-shaped pillow under your mattress, but don’t simply pile up extra pillows as it’s easy to slip off of them at night. Don’t lie down within 3-4 hours after eating, because lying down with a full stomach makes stomach contents press harder against your lower esophageal sphincter. 5. How, what, and when Watch how you eat: Don’t inhale giant mouthfuls of food. Take smaller bites and eat slowly, allowing your stomach time to digest and without giving it an excuse to pump out excess acid. Watch what you eat: You’re probably aware that specific foods trigger heartburn, usually foods high in acid (tomatoes or citrus fruits, for example,) or spicy foods. Avoid these as best you can to ward off Watch when you eat: Don’t eat within 3-4 hours before bed. Lying down puts more pressure on your LES and increases the likelihood of acid sneaking through. 6. Get more acid When you have acid burning your esophagus, it seems quite counterintuitive to ingest even more acid. In many cases though, acid reflux is caused by having not enough acid in your stomach, rather than having too much, as over-the-counter or prescription “acid blockers” imply (although that can also be the case, among other factors.) It is the acid itself that tells the lower esophageal sphincter to tighten and close off. If you don’t produce enough acid, your LES is going to think it’s no big deal to loosen up for a little bit. Then of course, you get a reflux of acid into your esophagus. If you think this may be your case, try drinking some pure, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar to see if this prevents your reflux, or cuts it off. You will need… -3 teaspoons or 1 tablespoon of raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar -6 to 8 ounces of fresh water Directions Mix 3 teaspoons, or up to 1 tablespoon, of apple cider vinegar into 6-8 ounces of fresh water, and drink. You can do this before each meal (probably the most effective,) before bedtime, or 2-3 times during the day. If you feel is worsens your reflux, do not continue to ingest it. Too much may also contribute to the problem. apple cider vinegar for acid reflux 7. Eat a banana or an apple Bananas contain natural antacids that can act as a buffer against acid reflux. If you want to try out the simplest home remedies for heartburn first, try letting a few bananas ripen up nicely and eating one every day. Another option is to try an apple a day. Slice one up and eat it a couple of hours before bedtime to relieve or prevent discomfort. 8. Make gingerroot tea Gingerroot can help ease up a number of stomach woes, from nausea to acid reflux. Sipping a cup of fresh tea about 20 minutes before a meal can help calm down your tummy and act as an acid buffer. You will need… -3 quarter sized slices of gingerroot -2 cups of water Slice up 3 quarter sized pieces of gingerroot and simmer gently in 2 cups of water, covered, for 30 minutes. Remove the ginger pieces, or leave them in, pour into a glass, and drink all of it about 20 minutes before a meal. ginger 9. Track your triggers It takes time, energy, and dedication, but tracking what triggers your heartburn may be what ultimately makes it go away in the end. Instead of going crazy with what you eat and relying on over-the-counter medications to keep the acid at bay, keep a little diary of sorts that makes note of what you ate, and if/when it caused heartburn. Also keep track of activities and what you’re wearing (explained in #10.) 10. Avoid tight fitting clothes Things cinched tightly about your waist or middle can worsen heartburn. If you have super tight jeans on, when you sit down, the waistband is going to sink into your abdomen region. Same goes for tight belts-and even shirts can be a problem for some. This is because all of the above puts extra pressure on your lower esophageal sphincter, which make it more likely stomach contents, will push through and you’ll experience reflux. 11. Smoking + alcohol = heart on fire Smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol can set you up for terrible reflux. The nicotine and alcohol both work to weaken your LES, making it that much easier for stomach contents and acid to splash up into your esophagus. Alcohol is also going to irritate your stomach in general. The solution? Quit smoking, and drink less (if at all.) Doing both will improve your health overall, in addition to relieving acid reflux. 12. Maintain a healthy weight Being overweight increases your risk of GERD, and you’re going to suffer from occasional heartburn a lot more as well. This is because unnecessarily added pounds will put pressure on your lower esophageal sphincter. It will be more likely to loosen, and overtime it may simply weaken. 13. Mustard. Mustard is an alkalizing food that is full of minerals, and contains a weak acid in the form of vinegar. Consuming mustard straight, while it may make you grimace at first, may ultimately end up making your smile. Because of its alkaline properties, it will help neutralize the acid that may come creeping up your throat, and therefore may neutralize the pain of acid reflux. It seems to be the most helpful if you’re feeling a bout of heartburn creeping up, or if you’re in the midst of one. You will need… -1 teaspoon of good quality yellow mustard Directions Muster up some courage, and just take that little sucker straight. mustard 14. Snack on almonds A natural remedy for heartburn from Reader’s Digest, eat some almonds after every meal, every snack, every time you ingest something basically. Try to track down organic almonds if possible. These tasty nuts do something to seemingly neutralize the juices in your stomach, relieving and preventing some instances of heartburn. You will need… -3 to 4 almonds Directions… Directly after every meal, every snack, basically every time you ingest something, eat 3-4 almonds afterwards. There’s no need to eat more, unless of course you want to munch on some more, but keep in mind that in excess some people have found almonds trigger heartburn, kind of like how they help tension headaches but can trigger migraines. almonds 15. A cup of chamomile Having a spot of chamomile tea about ½ – 1 hour before you plan on going to sleep can help reduce inflammation in your stomach, and possibly balance out the acidity levels as well. It also does wonders for relieving stress, which can trigger acid reflux, and will help you sleep through the night as well. You can use instant chamomile tea, or you can easily make your own fresh. You will need… -1 teaspoon dried chamomile flower petals -Strainer -1 cup of boiling water -Honey or lemon (optional) Directions Boil one cup of water in a cooking pot, and then reduce the heat. Stir in 1 teaspoon of dried chamomile petals, and let them simmer for 45 seconds. Remove from heat and let the petals soak for another minute or two before straining them. Pour the tea into a mug, and add a bit of honey or lemon if you wish. When I was very young, around 5 or 6, I remember hearing my babysitter talk about heartburn, and I was horrified. I asked her if it meant your heart was on fire and she said “yes.” I paused and then said “like, there are actually flames around your heart?” My babysitter nodded solemnly. Now, of course, I know better than that, but it’s still called heartburn for a reason. The searing, burning, pain does indeed feel like someone lit a fire in your chest, and let the flames spread to your throat. Certain medications may quell the discomfort, but they can have long-term side effects, create dependency, are hard on your system, and often times aren’t even necessary for occasional acid reflux. It may be awhile of trial and error when using natural remedies to find what works best to treat your heartburn, but in the long run, it’s well worth it.

Doubt is the rust of life.

Doubt holds you landlocked in paralysis unable to move either way. The time you spent doubting is the time you are not alive. So, rid yourself of the doubt, take that step one way or another, your heart knows what is best, but take it right now.

Living your life as good as you are able to, is good enough.

You don't need to be superhuman, and you don't need to be perfect. Simply live the best you can, and God will take care of the rest.

Everyone mistakes the limits of their vision for the limits of the world.

Have compassion for others when they cannot see what is obvious to you. Have compassion for yourself when you realize that you can see only a small part of God's vision for the world.

Check Your Image!

You cannot receive God's blessings with old ways of thinking. The problem with some Saints is not with God's blessings, it is their ability to receive His blessings. The Scriptures says: “You cannot put new wine in old skins. If you do, the skins would burst.” God has explosive blessings. We must make room for God's blessings. Also, you got to have an "I know my blessing is coming" kind of attitude. Some of us want God to surprise us instead of expecting Him to bless us. Check your image. Have you started looking, talking, and acting like you're expecting a blessing from God? Expand your vision for God’s blessing and don’t put a limit on it. That’s like putting a limit on God who has no limits.

Trusting in God Becomes Natural

You cannot have faith in some thing or someone without having complete trust in the thing or the person. Complete trust must be established before we will impart our faith. Having complete trust in God will even change the way we pray to Him. Having complete trust in God also changes the way we approach Him or even think about Him. We have read and have heard what the Word of God says about the power of faith. The Scriptures says: "We are saved by His grace through our faith." Christ talked about the power and the importance of faith often. I believe most Christians understand this power but sometimes fall short of lending their faith as they would like. So, how can we establish complete trust in God? Simply, by getting to know God! Can it be that simple? Yes it can! If we see God as someone whom we only go to, to get something, then we are short changing ourselves. But for those of us who finds so much joy in just being in His presence, trusting in Him becomes natural. And if our trust is natural, so then is our faith. A small child enjoy being with his/her parents as much as possible. When the child sees something he wants, the child does not hope the parent will get it for him, but actually expect to receive it. Trusting as to whether or not the parent can provide the thing or having faith in the parent willingness to provide the thing is not an option to even consider. The reason is because of the relationship the child has with his or her parents. Here's the good part. This type of faith goes beyond trust. This type of faith is based on a bond forged in love. And love knows no boundaries. The enemy would be wise not to approach a child of God. When the Scriptures says "Touch not the Lord's anointed," those are not just words. You belong.

You are part of a community: people of faith. Worship with others, share with others, experience God with others. You are not in this alone; you have an entire family of believers out there. Today is a good day to seek some of them out.

The power of saying NO to some people

Sometimes, you have to say no to save your soul. It’s ok and things change. Sometimes you just gotta say no; I think that you have to do that even when it’s a family member, Daughter or Son. Saying no to your loved family members and true good friends is the hardest. They will realise it’s for their own good in time. We cannot keep on pleasing people all the time. It will do more harm than good. The hardest thing is to say no, but we have to learn to say it when necessary. You can’t please everyone all of the time so don’t even try. It’s the only way to keep sane and get everything into perspective.

You need to have faith.

No matter how deep the abyss or how powerful the storms you face, everything can change for the better in a day, a moment or an instant. Hold on and know that your current circumstances will pass.

"Words"

Words can have creative influences. The things you say about others can have an impact on the way they see themselves. But this is something most of us know already. I would like to focus on the words we use to describe ourselves to ourselves, as well as the words we use to present ourselves to others. I know that’s a mouthful, but bear with me for a minute. When you know who you are, it changes the way you think. How you see yourself reflects also how you speak of yourself to others. Do you know that when God created you, He put His DNA in you? Our Spiritual Birth Certificate says we come from a royal bloodline. God has passed on to us potential to be much more than we are today. In fact, some of us know of our potential, but we realize it would dramatically change our lives if we dare engage the calling or objective for which God has put us here. How many times have I heard someone say: “I think God is trying to tell me something,” or “I know I could do so much more if only I had a chance?” Remember, David did not take the stones with him… he picked them up on the way. This means God will provide you with whatever you need. You just need to take the first step. Christ has already paved the way for us and has set us free to be all God created us to be. So what’s holding some of us back? “Words!” We need to begin to speak the words of entitlement to ourselves, and to others about ourselves, until the winds begin to echo - “A new warrior has just arrived to be about the work God has intended.” And it all starts by taking that first step to claim your birthright. By the power of the Holy Spirit, speak the privilege of your inheritance which is your destiny.

Someone who frees their time to speak with you

You can always make another dollar, but not more time, it is a measure of a persons kindness, caring and consideration, A few minutes of a persons time can mean so much to another person, it can be the highlight of their day.

It's good to remember.

Think about the times that you felt close to God, when love and joy pulsed through your veins. Dwell on these times, especially when life isn't easy and trouble seems to compete for your attention. Any situation can be improved if you remember to remember God.

You have to pass through a dark night of the soul.

Everyone does, including you. A time comes when what you have always believed is true melts away underneath you. When you cast in doubt even the most obvious, the most simple. When it seems that dark night is all around, and you are all alone. Take heart, this journey through abyss is the final barrier before your emergence into the heavenly light of a new synthesis of your being. God is waiting for you on the other side.

There is no such thing as conditional love.

Love is either unconditional or it's no love. You might like someone conditional on their personality or behavior or circumstances. But love accepts no boundaries. So never say 'I love you because', for love has no cause, love comes from God.

"Not everyone will understand your journey."

Non understanding of the people around you makes you feel low and lonely! Open up to the wrong person and you will regret it. It’s so much easier to do what makes you happy than to worry whether others will approve of your lifestyle.
