"Estaciones de sufrimiento"
Verso de hoy:
¿Puede una mujer olvidar a su hijo lactante o no mostrar compasión por el hijo de su matriz? Incluso estos pueden olvidar, pero yo no te olvidaré. - Isaías 49:15
El sufrimiento puede ser una experiencia muy solitaria y aislada. A veces no recibimos respuestas de por qué estamos sufriendo en esta vida. A veces las cosas no cambian. No recuperas a tu familiar. No obtienes remisión. Pero eso no significa que el Señor no lo vea, lo entienda y quiera ayudarlo a superarlo. La próxima vez que esté pasando por una temporada de sufrimiento, deténgase y pídale al Señor que le muestre qué lección quiere que aprenda. La Biblia nos dice que Dios es soberano y siempre tiene el control (Salmo 11: 4). Dios puede usar cualquier cosa en tu vida para bien, incluso el sufrimiento y las dificultades (Romanos 8:28). Dios promete que nunca te dejará solo en tu temporada de sufrimiento (Salmo 118: 6). Entonces, cuando no obtienes la respuesta que deseas, o una respuesta en absoluto, Dios todavía está en su trono y tiene un plan perfecto para ti (Isaías 55: 8). Las estaciones de sufrimiento pueden ser un terreno propicio para plantar nuevas semillas de fe que se convertirán en árboles de fe profundamente arraigados. Señor, necesito que me sostengas hoy. Confío en tu tiempo perfecto, tu amor inagotable y tu bondad eterna. Necesito que me lleves con tu fuerza a través de esta temporada de sufrimiento. Muéstrame qué lección se supone que debo aprender y, como resultado, ayúdame a acercarme más a ti. Amén.

"Seasons of Suffering,"
Today's Verse:
Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. - Isaiah 49:15
Suffering can be a very lonely and isolating experience. Sometimes we don’t get answers to why we are suffering in this lifetime. Sometimes things don’t change. You don’t get your family member back. You don’t get remission. But that doesn’t mean that the Lord doesn’t see that, understand it, and want to help you through it. The next time you are going through a season of suffering, stop and ask the Lord to show you what lesson He wants you to learn. The Bible tells us God is sovereign and always in control (Psalm 11:4). God can use anything in your life for good, including suffering and hardship (Romans 8:28). God promises that He will never leave you alone in your season of suffering (Psalm 118:6). So when you don’t get the answer you want, or an answer at all, God is still on his throne and has a perfect plan for you (Isaiah 55:8). Seasons of suffering can be ripe ground for planting new seeds of faith that will grow into deep-rooted trees of faith. You can be sure that they will stand firm in the next storm of life that comes your way. - Commentary by: Chelsea Henry.

Lord, I need you to sustain me today. I trust in Your perfect timing, Your never-failing love, and eternal goodness. I need You to carry me with Your strength through this season of suffering. Show me what lesson I am supposed to learn and help me to grow closer to You as a result. Amen.
