"El Vertical,"

Verso de hoy:

 Aunque florezca entre los juncos, vendrá el viento del este, un soplo de Jehová que se levantará del desierto;  y se secará su fuente, se secará su manantial.  Despojará a su tesoro de todo lo precioso.

 Este versículo analiza el patrón común de Efraín en el libro de Oseas.  Este florecimiento conlleva un contexto negativo.  El viento del este es del Señor, y su propósito es destruir este florecimiento.  Muchos de nosotros luchamos por el respeto, una alta posición y la bondad en este mundo.  Sí, estas son cosas importantes, pero cuando se trata de lo que le importa al Señor, son pequeñas.  Estas cosas son minúsculas en comparación con el amor y el poder que Dios tiene para mostrarte y ofrecerte.  Dios puede usar el respeto y la buena reputación para glorificarse a través de usted.  Lo importante es que recuerde que estas cosas son buenas a los ojos de Dios cuando glorifican a Dios.  Mantén tus ojos en Él, y tu florecimiento estará lleno de Dios.  Oseas 14: 9 Los sabios entienden estas cosas;  los que saben, los conocen.  Porque los caminos del Señor son rectos, y los rectos andan en ellos, pero los transgresores tropiezan en ellos ".  Oración de hoy:

 Dios, te pido que nos ayudes a mantener constantemente nuestros ojos en ti.  Que podamos discernir entre el florecimiento celestial y terrenal.  Oro para que nuestro florecimiento sea únicamente para glorificarte y mostrarle al mundo quién eres realmente.  Recuérdanos que estás lleno de gracia y que Tus brazos están siempre abiertos, no importa cuántas veces tropecemos.  Amén.

"The Upright,"

Today’s Verse: 

Although he may flourish among rushes, the east wind shall come, a blast from the Lord, rising from the wilderness; and his fountain shall dry up, his spring shall be parched. It shall strip his treasury of every precious thing.

This verse discusses the common pattern of Ephraim in the book of Hosea. This flourishing carries a negative context. The east wind is of the Lord, and its purpose is to destroy this flourishing. Many of us strive for respect, a high standing, and goodness in this world. Yes, these are important things, but when it comes to what matters to the Lord, they are small. These things are minuscule compared to the love and power God has to show and offer you. God can use respect and good standing to glorify Himself through you. What’s important is that you remember these things are good in the eyes of God when they glorify God. Keep your eyes on Him, and your flourishing will be God-filled. Hosea 14:9 Those who are wise understand these things; those who are discerning know them. Today’s Prayer:

God, I pray that You help us to constantly keep our eyes on You. That we can discern between heavenly and earthly flourishing. I pray that our flourishing is solely to glorify You and to show the world who You truly are. Remind us that You are full of grace and that Your arms are always open, no matter how many times we stumble. Amen.
