"Comparte Los Peces,"

Verso de hoy:

 Cuando desembarcaron, vieron allí un fuego de carbón, con pescado y pan.  Jesús les dijo: "Traigan un poco de pescado que acaba de pescar". Juan 21: 9-10.

 De acuerdo, de acuerdo, entonces el asunto del correo electrónico de hoy suena un poco infantil.  Bueno, ese es mi punto.  Una de las cosas por las que mis dos hijos mayores siempre se pelean es por compartir sus bocadillos de peces dorados.  Cada vez que uno de ellos consigue algo de merienda, tenemos que darle la misma cantidad al otro.  Si no lo hacemos, terminan robándose unos a otros hasta que se produce una guerra total de peces de colores en nuestra sala de estar.  Así como los discípulos se dieron cuenta de quién era Jesús, nuestros niños generalmente se dan cuenta de que necesitan compartir.  Este versículo me recuerda eso.  En nuestras vidas, Dios nos ha dado cosas para compartir con quienes nos rodean.  Quizás, en lugar de estallar en nuestras propias guerras de peces de colores, deberíamos compartir lo que Dios nos ha bendecido y dar a los demás.  - Comentario de: Matthew J.  Oración de hoy:

 Padre, a veces olvidamos que las bendiciones que nos das deben compartirse con más frecuencia.  A medida que avanzamos cada día, oramos para que nos ayudes a ver las oportunidades que colocas en nuestro camino y que hagamos precisamente eso.  Amén.

"Share The Fishies,"

Today’s Verse:

When they had gone ashore, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish on it, and bread. Jesus said to them, ‘Bring some fish that you have just caught.’ – John 21:9-10

Okay, Okay, so the subject of today’s email sounds a bit childish. Well, that’s my point. One of the things that my two older kids always fight about is sharing their goldfish snacks. Anytime one of them gets some for a snack, we have to give the same amount to the other one. If we don’t, they end up stealing from each other until an all-out goldfish war takes place in our living room. Just as the disciples realized who Jesus was, our kids usually realize they need to share. This verse reminds me of that. In our lives, God has given us things to share with those around us. Maybe, instead of breaking out into our own little goldfish wars, we should share what God has blessed us with and give to others. - Commentary by: Matthew J. Elliott

Today’s Prayer:

Father, sometimes we forget that the blessings You give us need to be shared more often. As we go about each day, we pray that You will help us to see the opportunities You place in our path and that we do just that. Amen.
