"Nuestro Constructor De Puentes,"

Verso de hoy:

 Por medio de él has llegado a confiar en Dios, que lo resucitó de entre los muertos y le dio gloria, para que tu fe y tu esperanza estén puestas en Dios.  - 1 Pedro 1:21

 ¿Qué significa realmente poner nuestra fe y esperanza en Dios?  Oímos que la gente nos dice todo el tiempo, “pongan su fe en Dios y pongan su esperanza en Él”, pero ¿qué significa eso realmente?  Cuando llegamos a conocer al Señor, Jesús actúa como nuestro intercesor, Él es nuestro constructor de puentes hacia Dios.  Esa conexión está con nosotros todos los días que caminamos con Dios y juega un papel muy importante en la construcción de nuestra fe.  Nos ayuda a reclamar la esperanza que profesamos en nuestras vidas.  Ponemos nuestra esperanza en Dios al ejercitar nuestra fe en confiar en Él y al abrazar a Jesús tanto como podamos.  - Comentario de Matthew J.  Oración de hoy:

 Dios Padre, hoy es uno de esos días en los que quiero conocerte más.  Ayúdame a crecer en mi fe y a abrazar Tu corazón lleno de esperanza.  Jesús, por favor intercede por todos nosotros en el camino.  Amén.

Today’s Verse:

Through him you have come to trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are set on God. - 1 Peter 1:21

What does it really mean to set our faith and hope in God? We hear people say to us all the time, “place your faith in God and place your hope in Him,” but what does that really mean? When we come to know the Lord, Jesus acts as our intercessor, He is our bridge builder to God. That connection is with us every day we walk with God and it plays a huge role in building our faith up. It helps us claim the hope we profess in our lives. We place our hope in God by exercising our faith in trusting Him and by embracing Jesus as much as we can. - Commentary by Matthew J. Elliott

Today’s Prayer:

Father God, today is one of those days that I want to know You more. Help me to grow in my faith and embrace Your hope-filled heart. Jesus, please intercede on all our behalf along the way. Amen.
