"La búsqueda de la alegría"

Verso de hoy:

 Los preceptos del Señor son correctos, dando alegría al corazón.  Los mandamientos del Señor son radiantes y dan luz a los ojos.  - Salmo 19: 8

 ¿Qué más podríamos querer en nuestras vidas que la alegría en nuestro corazón y la iluminación de nuestra mente?  Los niños tienen hermosas almas llenas de alegría y felicidad.  Cuando miro a los niños, veo lo que Dios quería cuando creó al hombre.  Quería criaturas puras e inocentes, llenas de Su Espíritu y encantadas con la vida.  Los ojos de los niños ven el mundo de manera diferente, en la forma en que Dios quiso que fuera, como un lugar feliz lleno de amor y alegría.  Pero a medida que crecemos, perdemos nuestra paz y deleite iniciales y comenzamos a sentirnos tristes, perdidos y vacíos.  Ese suele ser el comienzo de nuestra búsqueda de la sabiduría.  Necesitamos desesperadamente descubrir cuál es el significado de nuestra existencia y hacia dónde vamos.  Lo mejor que podemos hacer es recurrir a la Palabra de Dios porque Sus preceptos y mandamientos nos son dados como una luz para mostrarnos el camino correcto, el camino en el que encontraremos nuestro gozo y nuestro verdadero ser.  - Comentario de: Irina Radosavljevic

 Querido Señor, ayúdame a mí y a mi familia a seguir siempre tus preceptos y mandamientos, porque en ellos podemos encontrar sabiduría, paz y alegría.  Gracias Jesús.  Amén.

"The Search For Joy,"

Today's Verse:

The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. - Psalm 19:8

What more could we want in our lives than joy in our heart and enlightenment of our mind? Children have beautiful souls filled with joy and happiness. When I look at the children, I see what God wanted when He created man. He wanted pure and innocent creatures, filled with His Spirit and delighted with life. Children’s eyes see the world differently, in the way God intended it to be, like a happy place filled with love and joy. But as we grow up, we lose our initial peace and delight and start feeling sad, lost, and empty. That is usually the beginning of our quest for wisdom. We desperately need to find out what is the meaning of our existence and where we are going. The best thing we can do is turn to God’s Word because His precepts and commandments are given to us as a light to show us the right path, the path on which we’ll find our joy and our true selves. - Commentary by: Irina Radosavljevic

Dear Lord, help me and my family to always follow Your precepts and commandments, for in them we can find wisdom, peace, and joy. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
