"Estúpido,"

Verso de hoy:

 Si todo el cuerpo fuera un ojo, ¿dónde estaría la audiencia?  Si todo el cuerpo estuviera escuchando, ¿dónde estaría el sentido del olfato?  - 1 Corintios 12:17

 Cada vez que leo este versículo, me sorprende la capacidad del apóstol Pablo de explicar las cosas de una manera tan simple que incluso un niño podría entender.  Las personas tienden a verse a sí mismas como muy importantes y mejores que otras debido a sus talentos, habilidades, posiciones o riqueza.  La verdad es que cada uno de nosotros tiene su propio propósito y papel únicos en la vida.  Todos tienen dones únicos dados por Dios y es nuestra tarea descubrir cuáles son esos dones y usarlos para la gloria de Dios.  No importa si nuestro papel parece pequeño porque cada papel dado por Dios es insustituible.  El cerebro es la parte más importante del cuerpo humano, pero ¿qué haría el cerebro sin el resto del cuerpo?  Sería inútil.  Entonces, todos somos valiosos a los ojos de Dios y no solo eso: todos somos partes de un cuerpo, nos necesitamos unos a otros y no somos nada el uno sin el otro.  - Comentario de: Irina Radosavljevic

 Querido Jesús, ayúdanos a vernos como partes valiosas de un cuerpo, unirnos con amor y comprensión, y salvarnos de la arrogancia y el orgullo.  Gracias Señor.  Amén.

Today's Verse:

If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? - 1 Corinthians 12:17

Every time I read this verse I’m amazed by the ability of the Apostle Paul to explain things in such a simple way that even a child could understand. People tend to see themselves as very important and better than others because of their talents, skills, positions, or wealth. The truth is that every one of us has their own unique purpose and role in life. Everybody has unique gifts given by God and it is our task to find out what those gifts are and to use them for the glory of God. It doesn’t matter if our role seems small because every role given by God is irreplaceable. The brain is the most important part of the human body, but what would the brain do without the rest of the body? It would be useless. So, we are all valuable in the eyes of God and not only that - we are all parts of one body, we need each other and we are nothing without each other. - Commentary by: Irina Radosavljevic

Dear Jesus, help us see each other as valuable parts of one body, bond us with love and understanding, and save us from arrogance and pride. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
