 Ver las noticias estos días puede resultar muy deprimente.  También es fácil dejar que el miedo se filtre y preocuparse por las cosas terribles que puedan suceder en el futuro.  El miedo al futuro es un ladrón astuto.  Ya sea que se dé cuenta o no, le está robando su alegría actual.  Piense en lo que tiene ahora que tiene miedo de perder en el futuro;  tal vez familia, salud, libertad, un trabajo, la lista podría seguir y seguir.  Al preocuparse por perder esas cosas mañana, se está perdiendo el disfrute de lo que ha sido bendecido hoy.  Pase lo que pase o no mañana, disfruta de lo que tienes ahora.  Confíe en que Dios estará con usted en todo lo que enfrente en el futuro.  De pie en esa confianza, entréguele sus mañanas a Él y regocíjese en lo que tiene hoy.  - Comentario de Traci Elliott

 Padre Celestial, gracias por todo lo que nos has dado aquí y ahora.  Ayúdanos a disfrutar lo que tenemos hoy y a enfocarnos en superar nuestras luchas actuales.  Ayúdanos con lo que pueda venir mañana cuando llegue ese día.

Today’s Verse: 

So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today. - Matthew 6:34

Watching the news these days can be very depressing. It’s easy to let fear creep in as well and to worry about what terrible things might happen in the future. Fear of the future is a sneaky thief. Whether you realize it or not, it is stealing your present joy. Think about what you have right now that you’re afraid of losing in the future; perhaps family, health, freedom, a job, the list could go on and on. By worrying about losing those things tomorrow, you are missing out on enjoying what you are blessed with today. Whatever may or may not happen tomorrow, enjoy what you have right now. Trust that God will be with you in whatever you face in the future. Standing in that trust, surrender your tomorrows to Him and rejoice in what you have today! - Commentary by Traci Elliott

Today’s Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for all You’ve given us right here and now. Help us to enjoy what we have today and focus on getting through our current struggles. Help us through whatever may come tomorrow when that day comes.
