"El Espíritu Santo Nos Guía,"

Verso de hoy:

 Ahora bien, no hemos recibido el espíritu del mundo, sino el Espíritu que viene de Dios, para que comprendamos los dones que Dios nos ha concedido.  - 1 Cor.  2:12

 El Espíritu Santo es Dios.  Es enviado por Dios para residir en nosotros y nos conoce íntimamente.  Como parte del misterio de la Trinidad, el Espíritu Santo conoce nuestro corazón y nuestra mente.  Él usa ese conocimiento para guiarnos en nuestra vida de oración y en nuestras interacciones con los demás.  Él nos ayuda durante la oración a saber cómo acercarnos a Dios, cómo comunicarnos con Él, cómo hacer peticiones y cómo darle gloria.  Si invocamos al Espíritu Santo para que nos ayude, Él nos dará las palabras que necesitamos.  Él nos guiará tanto en nuestras oraciones a Dios como en nuestra vida diaria.  El Espíritu Santo también nos permite ver los dones que Dios nos da al abrir nuestros ojos, corazones y mentes a las bendiciones que nos rodean.  Solo podemos imaginar lo increíble que fue para los discípulos tener a Jesús a su lado físicamente durante tres años.  Sin embargo, también debemos considerar cuán maravillosamente bendecidos y afortunados somos de tener a la tercera persona de Dios viviendo dentro de nosotros.  - Comentario de Colleen Mallette

 Querido Espíritu Santo, gracias por estar siempre conmigo y guiarme durante mi día.  Ayúdame con mis palabras y oraciones para que pueda ser un instrumento de la gloria de Dios.  Amén.

Today’s Verse:

Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. - 1 Cor. 2:12

The Holy Spirit is God. He is sent by God to reside in us and He intimately knows us. As part of the mystery of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit knows our hearts and minds. He uses that knowledge to guide us in our prayer life, and in our interactions with others. He helps us during prayer to know how to approach God, how to communicate with Him, how to make requests, and how to give glory to Him. If we call on the Holy Spirit to help us, He will give us the words we need. He will lead us both in our prayers to God, and in our everyday lives. The Holy Spirit also allows us to see the gifts God gives us by opening our eyes, hearts, and minds to the blessings that surround us. We can only imagine how incredible it was for the disciples to have Jesus by their sides physically for three years. However, we should also consider how wonderfully blessed and fortunate we are to have the third person of God living inside of us. - Commentary by Colleen Mallette

Dear Holy Spirit, thank You for always being with me and guiding me through my day. Help me with my words and prayers so that I may be an instrument of God’s glory. Amen.
