"La Misma Mente,"
Verso de hoy:
Que la misma mente esté en ti que estaba en Cristo Jesús.  - Filipenses 2: 5
Cuando era un niño delgado, tuve una buena parte de ser acosado.  A veces intentaba contraatacar, y otras no.  Fue un momento confuso porque no sabía cómo manejar estas situaciones difíciles.  Eventualmente se me ocurrió una solución al preguntarme a mí mismo qué haría mi hermano mayor.  Admiraba a mi hermano porque era fuerte, confiado y, a menudo, tenía buen juicio.  Pude manejar las situaciones un poco mejor y cuando me metí en peleas se convirtió en un disuasivo para otros, ya que dudaban en meterse conmigo de nuevo.  En mi adolescencia, escuché sobre el movimiento “¿Qué haría Jesús?”.  Me dio una perspectiva diferente al abordar los conflictos y la apliqué lentamente en todos los aspectos de mi vida.  El apóstol Pablo nos insta a pensar como Cristo Jesús.  Cuando decidí seguir eso, nunca miré hacia atrás.  Nunca podremos ser perfectos como Jesús, pero podemos tratar de emularlo.  Si hacemos esto en nuestras vidas, será un modelo para otros sobre cómo evitar la angustia y el conflicto.  - Comentario de Mark Natividad
Oración de hoy:
Nuestro Padre Celestial, es nuestro deseo seguir el ejemplo de Jesús.  Señor, ayúdanos a ser amorosos, amables, humildes y lo suficientemente sabios como para evitar peleas en lugar de iniciarlas.  En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

Today’s Verse:
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 2:5
When I was a skinny little kid, I had my fair share of being bullied. Sometimes I would try to fight back, and sometimes not. It was a confusing time as I did not know how to handle these difficult situations. I eventually came up with a solution of asking myself what would my older brother do? I looked up to my brother because he was strong, confident, and often had good judgment. I was able to navigate the situations a little better and when I did get into fights it became a deterrent to others as they were hesitant to pick on me again. In my teens, I heard about the “What would Jesus do” movement. It gave me a different perspective in approaching conflicts and I slowly applied it in every aspect of my life. Apostle Paul urges us to think like Christ Jesus. When I decided to follow that, I never looked back. We can never be perfect like Jesus, but we can try to emulate Him. If we do this in our lives, it will be a model to others on how to avoid heartache and conflict. - Commentary by Mark Natividad
Today’s Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, it is our desire to follow Jesus's example. Lord, help us to be loving, kind, humble, and wise enough to avoid fights instead of starting them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
