"Dios Es Para Siempre,"

Verso de hoy:

 Se seca la hierba, se marchita la flor;  pero la palabra de nuestro Dios permanece para siempre.  - Isaías 40: 8

 ¿Cuántas veces nos decimos a nosotros mismos, "Ojalá este momento durara para siempre".  O "Ojalá pudiera congelar el tiempo y mantener a mis hijos de esta edad para siempre".  La vida está llena de momentos especiales que anticipamos con alegría y a los que nos aferramos.  Hacemos esto tanto en el momento como después en nuestros recuerdos y con imágenes.  Esos son tiempos importantes para atesorar, principalmente porque sabemos que son fugaces.  La vida cambia constantemente y nada dura mucho.  Sin embargo, Dios promete que Él y Su Palabra durarán para siempre.  Él es la única fuerza constante e inmutable que existe en nuestro mundo.  Somos muy bendecidos por tener Sus amorosas Escrituras para leer en cualquier momento que queramos.  Incluso si todas las Biblias que existen se hubieran ido, Su Palabra viviría en nuestros corazones y mentes.  Sus promesas seguirían existiendo.  Han resistido la prueba del tiempo durante todos estos cientos de años y se puede confiar en ellos.  Su amor es para siempre y también lo es Su oferta de salvación eterna.  - Comentario de Colleen Mallette

 Oración de hoy:

 Padre amoroso, Tu Palabra y Tus promesas para nosotros son tan confiables.  Es difícil para nosotros entender “para siempre”, pero qué consuelo es saber que siempre estarás ahí para nosotros.  Gracias.  Amén.

Today’s Verse:

The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever. - Isaiah 40:8

How many times do we say to ourselves, “I wish this moment would last forever.” Or “I wish I could freeze time and keep my kids this age forever.” Life is full of special moments that we anticipate with joy and hang on to. We do this both in the moment and afterward in our memories and with pictures. Those are important times to treasure, mostly because we know they are fleeting. Life is constantly changing and nothing lasts for long. Yet God promises that He and His Word will last forever. He is the only unchanging, constant force in existence in our world. We are so blessed to have His loving Scriptures to read anytime we want. Even if all the Bibles that exist were gone, His Word would live on in our hearts and minds. His promises would still exist. They have stood the test of time over all these hundreds of years and can be relied on. His love is forever and so is His offer of eternal salvation! - Commentary by Colleen Mallette

Today’s Prayer:

Loving Father, Your Word and Your promises to us are so dependable. It is difficult for us to understand “forever,” but what a comfort to know that You will always be there for us. Thank you. Amen.
