"Cuenta Nuestros Días,"
Verso de hoy:
Enséñanos, pues, a contar nuestros días para que ganemos un corazón sabio.  - Salmo 90:12
Cuando era joven, la gente mayor decía que la vida es corta y el tiempo pasa rápido.  Debería prestar mucha atención en la escuela y concentrarme en estudiar.  Pero en segundo grado, el tiempo era lento porque nuestro consejero de clase era desagradable y fue mi introducción a ser intimidado por otros niños.  Ese año escolar no fue agradable porque quería que terminaran las clases y llegara el verano.  Ahora que soy un adulto, puedo dar fe de que el tiempo pasa rápido.  Pronto cumpliré cuarenta y este versículo me recuerda que evalúe mi vida.  Moisés escribió este salmo mientras vivía hasta los ciento veinte años.  Pasó sus primeros cuarenta años en Egipto como hijo de la hija del faraón, otros cuarenta en Madián después de que mató a un amo de esclavos egipcio, y los últimos cuarenta conduciendo a los hebreos por el desierto a la Tierra Prometida.  Entonces, ¿estamos usando nuestro tiempo con prudencia o simplemente lo estamos perdiendo?  Cuenta tus días y ten cuidado con cómo los vivimos.  Vivamos sabiamente y busquemos siempre hacer la voluntad de Dios, seamos amorosos y demos buenos frutos para Dios.  - Comentario de Mark Natividad

Nuestro Padre Celestial, gracias por la vida maravillosa que nos das y la vida de las personas con las que la compartimos.  Señor, ayúdanos a vivir sabiamente para que no perdamos nuestro tiempo y oportunidades para hacer Tu voluntad.  En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

Today’s Verse:
So teach us to count our days that we may gain a wise heart. - Psalm 90:12
When I was young, older folks would say that life is short and time flies by fast. I should pay close attention in school and focus on studying. But back in second grade, time was slow because our class adviser was unlikable and it was my introduction to being bullied by other kids. That school year wasn’t enjoyable as I wanted classes to be over and summer to arrive. Now I'm an adult, I can attest that time does get by fast. I’ll be forty soon, and this verse reminds me to evaluate my life. Moses wrote this psalm while he lived to one-hundred twenty years old. He spent his first forty years in Egypt as the son of the pharaoh's daughter, another forty in Midian after he killed an Egyptian slave-master, and the last forty leading the Hebrews in the wilderness to the Promised Land. So are we using our time prudently or just wasting our time? Count your days and be careful about how we live them. Let us live wisely, and always seek to do God's will, be loving, and bear good fruit for God. - Commentary by Mark Natividad

Our Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful life You give us and the lives of the people we share it with. Lord, help us to live wisely so that we may not waste our time and opportunities to do Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
