 Entonces, si ustedes, que son malos, saben dar buenos regalos a sus hijos, ¡cuánto más su Padre que está en los cielos dará cosas buenas a quienes le pidan!  - Mateo 7:11

 ¿Te has preguntado alguna vez cómo es Dios?  Si bien hay mucho acerca de Dios que no podemos comprender, hay algunas cosas que la Biblia nos dice.  En la Biblia, Dios es presentado como padre, esposo y amigo, entre otras cosas.  Quizás Dios nos ha dado relaciones humanas en parte para conocer más plenamente cómo es Él y cómo nos ama.  Ser padre, madre, cónyuge o amigo puede darnos una idea de diferentes aspectos de Dios.  ¿Podría ser también que la comunión cristiana es importante para que podamos compartir las experiencias de los demás y, a través de eso, tener una comprensión más profunda de Dios?  Si bien es posible que algunos de nosotros no tengamos la oportunidad de experimentar el amor de un cónyuge o el gozo de la paternidad, cada uno de nosotros tiene experiencias únicas que nos ayudan a comprender mejor a Dios.  -Comentario de: Traci Elliott

 Oración de hoy:

 Santo Padre, gracias por las muchas formas en que se nos revela.  Ayúdanos a profundizar más en tu Palabra y a tener comunión unos con otros para que podamos tener una comprensión y una relación más profundas contigo.  Amén.

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him! - Matthew 7:11

Have you ever wondered what God is like? While there is much about God that we cannot comprehend, there are some things that the Bible does tell us. In the Bible, God is portrayed as a father, a husband, and a friend, among other things. Perhaps God has given us human relationships in part to know more fully what He is like and how He loves us. Being a father, mother, spouse, or friend can give us a glimpse into different aspects of God. Could it also be that Christian fellowship is important so that we can share in each other’s experiences and through that have a deeper understanding of God? While some of us may not have the opportunity to experience the love of a spouse or the joy of parenthood, each of us has unique experiences that help us understand God better. -Commentary by: Traci Elliott

Today’s Prayer:

Holy Father, thank you for the many ways that you reveal yourself to us. Help us to dig more deeply into your Word and to fellowship with each other so that we can have a deeper understanding and relationship with you. Amen.
