"Dios Trae Crecimiento,"

Verso de hoy:

 ¿Qué es entonces Apolos?  ¿Qué es Paul?  Siervos por quienes llegaste a creer, como el Señor asignó a cada uno.  Yo planté, Apolos regó, pero Dios dio el crecimiento.  Así que ni el que planta ni el que riega es algo, sino Dios que da el crecimiento.  - 1 Corintios 3: 5-7

 ¿Le ha resultado difícil compartir su fe con los demás de una manera auténtica y eficaz?  Sigo volviendo al versículo anterior.  Quizás compartir el evangelio no siempre se trata de contarle a la gente todos los detalles de lo que significa ser salvo o de lanzar un mensaje cliché que ha memorizado.  Quizás compartir el Evangelio se trata más de plantar y regar semillas en la vida de las personas.  Estas semillas podrían ser un acto de bondad que no se espera, o compartir lo que Jesús ha hecho en su vida que podría ayudar a otros.  En otras palabras, podemos ser la persona que lleve a alguien al punto de la salvación, o puede ser que simplemente sembramos una semilla que inicia el proceso.  Comience con un pequeño acto de fe mientras le pide a Dios que se mueva en la situación y Él traerá el crecimiento que se necesita.  - Comentario de: Traci Elliott

 Oración de hoy:

 Padre celestial, gracias por llevarnos a cada uno de nosotros a la salvación a través de Jesús.  Enséñanos y danos el poder para compartir esa salvación con otros, en grandes y pequeñas formas a medida que nos das la oportunidad.  Amén.

Today’s Verse:

What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. - 1 Corinthians 3:5-7

Have you found it difficult to share your faith with others in an authentic and effective way? I keep coming back to the verse above. Maybe sharing the gospel isn’t always about telling people every detail of what it means to be saved, or spouting off a cliché message that you have memorized. Maybe sharing the Gospel is more about planting and watering seeds in people’s lives. These seeds could be an act of kindness that is not expected, or sharing what Jesus has done in your life that might help others. In other words, we may be the person who will bring someone to the point of salvation, or it may be that we just plant a seed that gets the process started. Start with a small act of faith while asking God to move in the situation and He will bring the growth that is needed. - Commentary by: Traci Elliott

Today’s Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing each of us to salvation through Jesus. Teach us and empower us to share that salvation with others, in big and small ways as You give us the opportunity. Amen.
