"Casa Construida Sobre Roca,"
Versículo de hoy:
Entonces, todo el que oye estas palabras mías y las pone en práctica será como un sabio que construyó su casa sobre roca. Cayó la lluvia, vinieron las inundaciones y los vientos soplaron y golpearon esa casa, pero no cayó, porque estaba cimentada sobre la roca. - Mateo 7: 24-25
Nunca pensé que vivir en una zona rural con altos cocoteros y mangos alrededor de mi casa pudiera ser tanto una bendición como una maldición. Disfruto de la belleza y la sombra que brindan. Sin embargo, recientemente, durante una fuerte tormenta, uno de los árboles de mango más grandes cayó sobre mi casa. Era tarde en la noche, mi familia y yo ya estábamos en la cama cuando escuchamos un fuerte crujido del árbol siendo arrancado del suelo, y en unos segundos, ¡bam! Un árbol de mango cayó directamente en nuestra casa con sus ramas y hojas golpeando las ventanas de nuestra habitación. Sucedió tan rápido que fue surrealista. Si nuestra casa no estuviera construida sólidamente con una buena base y paredes fuertes, el árbol nos habría golpeado y herido. ¡Alabado sea Dios por su protección! Fue nada menos que un encuentro cercano con la muerte. Del mismo modo, si nuestra vida y nuestra fe no están construidas sobre una base sólida en la Palabra de Dios cuando vengan las tormentas y las dificultades, seremos golpeados con fuerza, caeremos y seremos arrastrados. Pero si construimos nuestra casa sobre roca, incluso cuando llegue la lluvia, las inundaciones o los vientos, todavía estaremos bajo la protección de Dios. - Comentario de Mark Natividad

Nuestro Padre Celestial, gracias por Tu protección y por mantenernos a salvo. Ayúdanos a leer y comprender realmente Tu Palabra y también a actuar en ella como lo haría un hombre verdaderamente sabio. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
"House Built On Rock,"
Today's Verse:
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock. - Matthew 7:24-25
I never thought that living in a rural area with tall coconut and mango trees surrounding my house could be both a blessing and a curse. I enjoy the beauty and the shade they provide. However, recently during a bad storm one of the largest mango trees fell onto my house. It was late in the evening, my family and I were already in bed when we heard a loud crackling sound of the tree being uprooted from the ground, and in a few seconds, bam! A mango tree fell right into our house with its branches and leaves hitting our room’s windows. It happened so fast that it was surreal. If our house was not built solidly with a good foundation and strong walls, we would have been struck and hurt by the tree. Praise God for His protection! It was nothing short of a close encounter with death. Likewise, if our life and faith is not built on a solid foundation in God’s Word when storms and hardship come, we will be hit hard, fall, and be washed away. But if we build our house on rock, even when rain, flood, or winds come, we will still be standing in God’s protection. - Commentary by Mark Natividad

Our Heavenly Father, thank You for Your protection and keeping us safe. Please help us to read and really comprehend Your Word and to also act on it like a truly wise man would do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
