"Supere El Dolor,"

Versículo de hoy:

 Mira, te he refinado, pero no como la plata;  Te he puesto a prueba en el horno de la adversidad.  Por mi propio bien, por mi propio bien, lo hago, porque ¿por qué ha de ser profanado mi nombre?  Mi gloria no se la daré a nadie.  - Isaías 48: 10-11

 ¿Alguna vez te has preguntado por qué tenemos que lidiar con la adversidad o por qué suceden cosas malas?  Esa respuesta a menudo no es fácil de entender, pero revela algunas cosas asombrosas.  En esta parte de Isaías 48, se nos da un vistazo de esa respuesta.  La adversidad o el sufrimiento es algo que a menudo puede ser el resultado del pecado.  Sin embargo, Dios puede tomar esas experiencias no deseadas y usarlas para dar gloria a Su Nombre.  Si bien no es la forma preferida de aprender algo, esas experiencias no deseadas pueden enseñarnos muchas cosas.  Cuando la adversidad golpea, podemos dejar que nos consuma, o podemos dársela a Dios y dejar que Él brille a través de ella.  Dios puede usar casi cualquier cosa mala y convertirla en algo increíblemente bueno.  En última instancia, depende de nosotros ofrecer nuestro sufrimiento e invitar a Dios a nuestras situaciones para que pueda usarlas para el bien.  - Comentario de Matthew J.  Oración de hoy:

 Dios Padre, sabemos que la adversidad nos rodea.  Oramos para que cuando suceda, podamos superar el dolor que pueda causar y honrarlo a través de él.  Danos la fe y las gracias que necesitaremos para salir victoriosos.  Amén.

Today's Verse:

See, I have refined you,  but not like silver; I have tested you in the furnace of adversity. For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for why should my name be profaned? My glory I will not give to another. - Isaiah 48:10-11

Have you ever wondered why we have to deal with adversity, or why bad things happen? That answer is often not easy to understand, but it does reveal some pretty amazing things. In this part of Isaiah 48, we are given a glimpse of that answer. Adversity, or suffering, is something that can often be the result of sin. However, God can take those unwanted experiences and use them to bring glory to His Name. While it is not the preferred way of learning something, those unwanted experiences can teach us many things. When adversity strikes, we can either let it consume us, or we can give it to God and let Him shine through it. God can use just about anything bad and turn it into something incredibly good. Ultimately, it is up to us to offer up our suffering and invite God into our situations so He can use them for good. - Commentary by Matthew J. Elliott

Today's Prayer:

Father God, we know that adversity is all around us. We pray that when it strikes, we will be able to overcome the pain it may cause and honor you through it. Please give us the faith and graces we will need to be victorious. Amen.
