"El Escondite,"

Verso de hoy:

 Tú eres mi escondite, me guardas de la angustia;  me rodeas de alegres gritos de liberación.  - Salmo 32: 7

 Cuando eras niño, ¿alguna vez tuviste un escondite realmente bueno al que irías cuando estabas molesto o simplemente querías estar solo?  Estos escondites eran un lugar para escapar y un intento de escapar de las dificultades del mundo.  Bueno, este versículo nos muestra que Dios es nuestro refugio y que está disponible cuando lo necesitamos.  Él escuchará nuestros problemas y nos proporcionará refugio.  La mejor parte es que Él realmente quiere que le digamos nuestros problemas;  Quiere escucharnos.  Cuando estamos en un escondite nos sentimos seguros, y si encontramos nuestro escondite en Dios, ¡nunca más tendremos que temer!  Dios nos escucha y nos protege incluso cuando no lo merecemos.  ¡Corre hacia Él, dale tus problemas y verás un cambio!  - Comentario de Rachel Marcolini

 Oración de hoy:

 Señor, ayúdame a aprender a acudir a ti en tiempos difíciles y cuando necesito consejo.  Oro para que, en lugar de ir a cualquier otro lugar en busca de ayuda o consuelo, corra hacia ti.  Oro para poder sentir Tu amor y tu presencia, especialmente en esos días en que me siento solo o quizás estés lejos de mí.  En el nombre de Jesús, amén.

"The Hiding Place,"

Today’s Verse:

You are a hiding place for me;you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with glad cries of deliverance. - Psalm 32:7

When you were a kid, did you ever have a really good hiding place that you would go to when you were upset or just wanted to be alone? These hiding spots were a place to get away, and an attempt to escape from the difficulties of the world. Well, this verse shows us that God is our refuge and He is available whenever we need Him. He will listen to our troubles and provide sanctuary. The best part is that He actually wants us to tell Him our problems; He wants to listen to us. When we are in a hiding place we feel secure, and if we find our hiding place in God, we never have to fear again! God listens and protects us even when we do not deserve it. Run to Him, give your troubles to Him and you will see a change! - Commentary by Rachel Marcolini

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, help me to learn to go to You in difficult times and when I need counsel. I pray that instead of going anywhere else for help or comfort that I will run to You. I pray that I can feel Your love and presence especially on those days when I feel alone or You might be far from me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
