"Sabiduría reivindicada",

Verso de hoy:

 Sin embargo, la sabiduría es reivindicada por todos sus hijos.  - Lucas 7:35

 A menudo nos encontramos con personas que hablan con fluidez y que convencen fácilmente a las personas de que su opinión es correcta y la mejor.  Pero independientemente de cuán persuasivos sean, la sabiduría no se valida al ganar argumentos;  la verdadera sabiduría resiste la prueba del tiempo.  Por eso la mejor fuente es Dios.  Seguir un mal consejo nos perseguirá, pero seguir uno bueno nos salvará del desastre.  Cuando estaba entrenando, fui molestado y atacado por un compañero de entrenamiento que es mucho mayor y más grande que yo.  Más tarde esa noche, otro aprendiz en quien confié me recomendó contraatacar.  Razonó que si ambos fuéramos expulsados ​​del entrenamiento, el otro aprendiz sufriría una pérdida mayor porque sería difícil para él postularse nuevamente mientras yo era joven y todavía tenía oportunidades.  Por la gracia de Dios, NO hice caso de su consejo.  A medida que pasaban los días, su consejo sonaba más equivocado y solo demostraba que no era un amigo.  La sabiduría nunca nos enseña a hacer las cosas incorrectas para lograr buenos resultados, pero nos ayuda a elegir hacer lo correcto aunque sea difícil.  - Comentario de Mark Natividad

 Nuestro Padre Celestial, perdóname por escuchar la sabiduría de este mundo e ignorar la sabiduría que proviene de Ti y de Tu Palabra en la Santa Biblia.  Señor, prometo de ahora en adelante leer Tu Palabra, validar y medir todo según las normas de Tu Palabra y no las normas de este mundo.  En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

"Wisdom Vindicated,"

Today’s Verse:

Nevertheless, wisdom is vindicated by all her children. - Luke 7:35

Oftentimes we meet smooth talkers who easily convince people that their opinion is correct and best. But regardless of how persuasive they are, wisdom isn’t validated by winning arguments; true wisdom stands the test of time. That’s why the best source is God. Heeding bad advice will haunt us, but taking a good one will save us from disaster. When I was in training, I got picked on and attacked by a fellow trainee who is way older and bigger than me. Later that night, another trainee who I confided in advised me to strike back. He reasoned that if we were both expelled from training, the other trainee would take a bigger loss because it would be difficult for him to apply again while I was young and still had opportunities. By God’s grace, I did NOT heed his advice. As each day passed, his advice sounded more wrong and only proved he was not a friend. Wisdom never teaches us to do the wrong things to achieve good results but helps us choose to do what is right even though it’s hard. - Commentary by Mark Natividad

Our Heavenly Father, forgive me for listening to the wisdom of this world while ignoring the wisdom that comes from You and Your Word in the Holy Bible. Lord, I promise from now on to read Your Word, validate, and measure everything by the standards of Your Word and not the standards of this world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
