"Problemas bienvenidos"

Verso de hoy:

 Mis hermanos y hermanas, cuando enfrenten pruebas de cualquier tipo, no lo consideren más que alegría.  - Santiago 1: 2

 ¿No es sorprendente con qué frecuencia la Palabra de Dios parece voltear la sabiduría terrenal convencional sobre su cabeza?  El mundo dice que los fuertes son venerados y honrados, mientras que los débiles son ignorados.  Pero Dios dice que los fuertes se debilitarán y los débiles se fortalecerán.  El mundo dice que los primeros son los primeros porque son los mejores y los demonios con los últimos.  Pero Dios dice, en su reino, el primero será el último y el último será el primero.  El mundo dice que lo humilde debe ser ignorado mientras que lo exaltado debe ser, bueno, exaltado.  Pero Dios lo ve al revés.  Él dice que los humildes serán exaltados mientras que los exaltados serán humillados.  Dios nos dice que los problemas no son realmente problemas, sino algo hermoso.  Los problemas son hermosos porque los problemas son una oportunidad para la alegría.  Dios nos instruye a no mirar los problemas como lo hace el mundo, sino como una oportunidad para crecer en nuestra fe.  Incrementemos nuestra confianza en Él, seamos un ejemplo piadoso para los demás, cambiemos una vida o, mejor aún, ayudemos a salvar una vida.  Dios dice que el problema es igual a la alegría.  ¡Qué manera de vivir la vida!  - Comentario de: Jerry Schemmel

 Padre celestial, ayúdanos todos los días, a ver el mundo como tú lo ves y a ver los problemas como una oportunidad de alegría.  ¡Amén!

"Welcomed Trouble,"

Today's Verse:

My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy. - James 1:2

Isn’t it amazing how often God’s Word seems to flip conventional, earthly wisdom on its head? The world says the strong are revered and honored while the weak are pretty much ignored. But God says the strong will become weak and the weak will become strong. The world says the first are first because they are the best and the heck with the last. But God says, in His kingdom, the first will be last and the last will be first. The world says the humble should be ignored while the exalted should be, well, exalted. But God sees it the opposite way. He says the humble will be exalted while the exalted will be humbled. God tells us that trouble is not really trouble at all, but a beautiful thing. Trouble is beautiful because trouble is an opportunity for joy. God instructs us not to look at trouble as the world does, but as a chance to grow in our faith. Let us increase our trust in Him, be a Godly example to others, change a life, or better yet, help save a life. God says trouble equals joy. What a way to live life! - Commentary by: Jerry Schemmel
