"Regocijándose en los sufrimientos"

Verso de hoy:

 Ahora me regocijo en mis sufrimientos por tu bien, y en mi carne estoy completando lo que falta en las aflicciones de Cristo por el bien de su cuerpo, es decir, la iglesia.  - Colosenses 1:24

 Estar en un ministerio puede ser difícil pero también gratificante.  Puede estar lleno de dolor, decepción y dolor, pero ninguno de estos es nuevo.  Jesús encontró rechazo, persecución y sufrimiento.  Sin embargo, no estamos sufriendo en vano porque lo hacemos por su cuerpo, la Iglesia.  Recuerdo vívidamente cuando nuestra iglesia local estaba formando una banda bajo el ministerio de música para tocar en vivo en el servicio de la iglesia.  No puedo contar el número de rechazos y decepciones que encontré.  Al principio parecía que muchos estaban interesados, pero cuando llegó el momento de poner en práctica las palabras, lamentablemente, muchos se negaron y rechazaron la invitación y la oportunidad de servir.  Hubo algunos que dijeron que sí, pero llegaron sesiones de práctica y muchos no se presentaron.  Al final del día, recibiría un mensaje de texto de disculpa por su ausencia.  A veces, no recibí ningún mensaje en absoluto.  Estaba allí afuera colgando y esperando.  Fue frustrante, pero con el tiempo por la gracia de Dios, aprendí a regocijarme en mis sufrimientos.  Estaba comprometido con el ministerio y sabía que estaba haciendo esto por el Señor.  Afortunadamente, todas las cosas funcionan juntas para bien y para la gloria de Dios.  Si estás en el mismo barco, no te desanimes.  Deje que Jesús sea el modelo para su ministerio.  Recuerda, no estás solo porque Dios está contigo.  Busque su guía y Él podría estar enseñándole cómo regocijarse y prosperar en sus sufrimientos.  - Comentario de: Mark Natividad

 Nuestro Padre Celestial, por favor danos la fuerza y ​​la sabiduría para soportar el sufrimiento.  Señor, concédenos una actitud positiva y una actitud alegre para superar las dificultades y los momentos dolorosos.  En el nombre de Jesús, amén.

"Rejoicing in Sufferings,"

Today's Verse:

I am now rejoicing in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am completing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of His body, that is, the church. - Colossians 1:24

Being in a ministry can be tough but also rewarding. It can be filled with pain, disappointment, and grief but none of these are new. Jesus encountered rejection, persecution, and suffering. However, we are not suffering in vain for we do it for His body, the Church. I remember vividly when our local church was forming a band under the music ministry to play live in the church service. I cannot count the number of rejection and disappointments I encountered. It seemed at first that many were interested but when the time came for words to be put into action, sadly, a lot refused and turned down the invitation and opportunity to serve. There were some who said yes but practice sessions came, and many were a no show. At the end of the day, I would receive a text message of apology for their absence. Sometimes, I did not receive any message at all. I was out there left hanging and hoping. It was frustrating but over time by God’s grace, I have learned to rejoice in my sufferings. I was committed to the ministry and knew I was doing this for the Lord. Thankfully, all things work together for good and for the glory of God. If you are in the same boat, don’t get discouraged. Let Jesus be the model for your ministry. Remember, you are not alone for God is with you. Seek His guidance and He might be teaching you how to rejoice and thrive in your sufferings. - Commentary by: Mark Natividad

Prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, please give us the strength and wisdom to endure suffering. Lord, grant us a positive outlook and joyful attitude to overcome the hardships and painful times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
