"La Debilidad de Dios"

 Porque la necedad de Dios es más sabia que la sabiduría humana, y la debilidad de Dios es más fuerte que la fuerza humana.  1 - Corintios 1:25

 Todos luchamos con algo, ya sea una dolencia física, una enfermedad o el miedo a algo.  A estos los llamamos nuestras "debilidades".  El recordar constantemente nuestras limitaciones físicas todos los días nos enseña a depender aún más de la fuerza y ​​la provisión de Dios.  Es precisamente cuando siento que no puedo continuar cuando la fuerza que el Señor me da es aún más fuerte y más real.  Es cuando las cosas parecen más oscuras cuando la luz y la esperanza que el Señor da brillan más.  Dios es siempre fiel, y a menudo lo sentimos con más fuerza cuando estamos en nuestro punto más bajo.  Pablo escribió en 1 Corintios: "La debilidad de Dios es más fuerte que la fuerza humana".  A menudo he orado para que el Señor me sostenga durante el siguiente minuto, hora y día.  Él siempre ha respondido a mis oraciones y ha demostrado ser fiel.  Puedo confiar en que Él me salvará.  Prefiero que Su asombrosa fuerza me fortalezca cualquier día que depender de mi propia fuerza limitada.  - Comentario de: Chelsea Henry

"God’s Weakness,"

Today’s Verse:

For God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength. 1 - Corinthians 1:25

We all struggle with something, be it a physical ailment, illness, or fear of something. We call these our, “weaknesses.” Being constantly reminded of our physical limitations every day teaches us to depend on God’s strength and provision all the more. It is precisely when I feel like I can’t go on that the strength the Lord gives me is even stronger and more real. It is when things seem darkest that the light and hope the Lord gives shines through the most. God is ever faithful, and we often feel it most strongly when we are at our lowest point. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians, "God’s weakness is stronger than human strength." I have often prayed for the Lord to sustain me through the next minute, hour, and day. He has always answered my prayers and proven faithful. I can trust Him to save me. I’d rather have His awesome strength empower me any day than rely on my own limited strength. - Commentary by: Chelsea Henry

Lord, empower me with Your strength to face whatever mountain is in front of me. I know that Your love never fails, Your power never runs out. Amen!
