"Grandes Y Pequeños"

Verso de hoy:

 ¡Cuán múltiples son, oh Señor, tus obras!  Con sabiduría los has hecho todos;  la tierra está llena de tus criaturas.  - Salmo 104: 24

 Tengo la suerte de tener una casa cerca del mar.  Estamos rodeados de árboles, plantas y lejos de la contaminación y el ruido de la ciudad.  Diariamente veo varios pájaros jugando en mi jardín.  A mis hijos siempre les emociona perseguir libélulas, mariposas, cangrejos y saltamontes.  Los niños de las zonas urbanas solo pueden ver estas pequeñas y maravillosas criaturas en libros o en Internet.  Recientemente pudimos observar tortugas en la orilla del mar después de que pusieron huevos en la arena.  Mientras mis inquisitivos hijos me preguntaban sin parar sobre estas criaturas, les recordé que Dios las creó a todas y que debemos cuidar el entorno natural en el que todos vivimos.  Las maravillosas obras de Dios son para que las contemplemos y las disfrutemos.  Me recuerda el himno: "Todas las cosas brillantes y hermosas, todas las criaturas grandes y pequeñas, todas las cosas sabias y hermosas, el Señor Dios las hizo todas".  - Comentario de Mark Natividad

 Oración de hoy:

 Nuestro Padre Celestial, gracias por las maravillosas criaturas que has creado para que contemplemos y disfrutemos.  Señor, toca los corazones de todas las personas para que seamos buenos administradores de toda la creación que nos has confiado.  En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

"Great & Small"

Today’s Verse:

O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of Your creatures. - Psalm 104:24

I am blessed to own a home near the sea. We are surrounded by trees, plants, and far from the pollution and noise of the city. Daily I watch various birds playing in my yard. My kids are always excited about chasing dragonflies, butterflies, crabs, and grasshoppers. Kids from urban areas only get to see these small, wonderful creatures in books or on the internet. Recently we got to watch turtles, on the seashore after they laid eggs in the sand. As my inquisitive children questioned me non-stop about these creatures, I reminded them that God created them all and that we should take care of the natural environment in which we all live. God's awesome works are for us to behold and enjoy. It reminds me of the hymn, “All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and beautiful, the Lord God made them all.” - Commentary by Mark Natividad

Today’s Prayer:    

Our Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful creatures You have created for us to behold and enjoy. Lord, please touch the hearts of all people so that we are good stewards of all the creation You have entrusted us with. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
