Verso de hoy:
No te conformes con este mundo, sino sé transformado por la renovación de tus mentes, para que puedas discernir cuál es la voluntad de Dios, qué es bueno, aceptable y perfecto.  - Romanos 12: 2
Ser cristiano requiere ser diferente y tener estándares más altos en muchas áreas de nuestras vidas.  Nuestras decisiones diarias deben basarse en objetivos piadosos, no mundanos.  Debemos evitar indulgencias excesivas, lenguaje grosero, chismes, apoyar películas o música que degrada a las personas y usar el nombre de Dios en vano.  Deberíamos pasar tiempo diariamente en oración y leyendo nuestra Biblia para acercarnos a nuestro Padre amoroso.  Así es como podemos discernir su voluntad para nosotros y tener la fuerza para llevarla a cabo.  Dios desea nuestra felicidad.  Cuando tenemos estándares buenos y amorosos para vivir nos trae esa felicidad.  Ya estás siguiendo el consejo en Romanos al suscribirte a este devocional y usarlo para renovar tu mente de una manera piadosa.  - Comentario de: Colleen Mallette

Padre amoroso, sé que quieres que sea feliz.  Ayúdame a encontrar esa felicidad buscando tu voluntad y amando a todos.  Amén.

Today's Verse:
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God — what is good and acceptable and perfect. - Romans 12:2
Being a Christian requires being different and having higher standards in many areas of our lives. Our daily decisions should be based on godly goals, not worldly ones. We are to avoid excessive indulgences, foul language, gossiping, endorsing movies, or music that degrades people, and using God’s name in vain. We should spend time daily in prayer and reading our Bible in order to grow closer to our loving Father. This is how we can discern His will for us and have the strength to carry it out. God desires our happiness. When we have good and loving standards to live by it brings us that happiness. You are already following the advice in Romans by subscribing to this devotional and using it to renew your mind in a godly way. - Commentary by: Colleen Mallette

Loving Father, I know You want me to be happy. Help me to find that happiness by seeking Your will and loving everyone. Amen.
