You need to stop comparing yourself to other people.

Some people are great singers, some are really smart and others are great athletes. But none of them are, or ever could be you. You are one of a kind. So stop comparing yourself to other people. You can't be them any more than they can be you.

If you are not open to many people

The real you is not for someone to discover. You are the CEO of your heart and have to decide who you show your heart to. Love is like poker. If you show your hand and he/she folds, you throw in your hand, check your chips and bet again. If he/she sees you then raises, then you keep going. If you show your heart and they walk away from the table, you check your chips, regroup and find the courage to soften your heart again enough to be open to showing it again. One day, out of nowhere someone comes along and “sees” you for who you are despite what you intended to show. Before you know it, you’re “naked” and exposed without a fig leaf in sight or the desire to find one because he/she is also “naked” before you and God in a garden you don’t remember traveling to.

You Are Beautiful and You Are Loved.

Even though you enjoy the beauty you see around you, none of that was His crowing accomplishment. The mountains, sunsets, oceans, and scenery are amazing, but you are His masterpiece. You are the crown of His Creation, and you are what is most precious to Him.

You can tackle this day because you are not alone.

God has gone before you and He is walking with you. By His grace and for His purposes, you can live well today, with God at your center, others as your focus, and with eternity as your motivator.

Every little part of you is magical.

Yes, even the parts that hurt, even the ones that are feeling disease right now. It's alright to love what is in pain. More than alright, that's exactly where your love is needed the most. So why not touch that part that hurts and smile at it, at yourself through it, and whisper: "I love you."
